A BIT ABOUT KRISTYHi. My name is Kristy Young and I am a Colorado native. I grew up right here in Colorado Springs.
I am an avid dog lover and have had at least one dog in my life since I was 5 years old! Jasper is my 7 year old Boxer baby. She is a certified therapy dog, we do Rally-o, agility and freestyle (doggy dancing) for fun. We enjoy hiking, camping, walks around the neighborhood and snuggling on the couch. Jasper is my best friend and I love to teach her new things and just spend as much time with her as possible!
In 2004 I started learning how to train dogs at All Breed Rescue & Training in my spare time. I loved working with dogs so much that in 2007 I decided to sell the business I owned at the time and start The Sudsy Dogmobile. Now that the Sudsy Dobmobile is doing so well I don't have time to work at All Breed Rescue & Training, but I still train Jasper there and I volunteer for them when I have time. I love working with dogs everyday and getting paid for it is fantastic!
And now in 2010 The Sudsy Dogmobile is doing so well that I have decided to expand the business and get a second trailer. Joe Hicks who is my other half has decided to join me in business and work with me.
A BIT ABOUT JOEI'm Joe Hicks. I grew up in Northwest Washington on a large horse ranch. I am a country boy at heart and an avid animal lover. I have had dogs, horses and other various animals all my life. Right now I only have one dog, Echo, who is my faithful loving 4 year old American Pittbull Terrier, she is my sidekick and goes with me whenever she gets the chance.
I moved to Colorado in 2008 to get away from the rain and not to long after I met and fell in love with Kristy. We have many common interests, most of them revolving around animals and the outdoors.
When Kristy found out that I too had been a dog groomer in the past we talked and joked about working together and how much fun it would be. Over time as our relationship has grown and the demand for mobile dog groomers has risen we decided that it was time to introduce The Sudsy Dogmobile 2. I am looking forward to working with Kristy's existing clients and getting to know some new ones.
