• Guaranteed to reduce shedding better than any brush, comb or rake
• Works great on all shedding, long and short-haired dogs

• Reduces the amount of airborne elements that cause allergic reactions.
Pricing depends on length of coat and how bad your dog is shedding.  We will give you a price after we have seen your dog.  Occasionally we may require the furminator treatment in order for us to groom your dog.

Emergency Skunk Treatment . . . $30
Has your dog been sprayed by a skunk?  I'm sure you don't want to load your smelly dog into your car to take them to the groomer!  We add a pre-wash skunk treatment to help eliminate the skunk odor and we use a special skunk shampoo as well.  We also fit your dog into our schedule the same day or the next day if it happens in the evening.  For an additional fee we will come out as soon as it happens wether that is in the evening or we will try to reschedule an appointment for you to get you in first thing in the morning.

Severely Matted Coat . . . $1 per minute
Shave Down of a Severely Matted Coat . . . $10-50
There are 3 options for de-matting a severely matted coat.  The first is having us de-matt the coat at $1 per minute additional cost to the regular grooming fee.  The second option is to shave the dog's coat off.  The shave down is an additional fee of $10-50, this depends on the size of your dog. The third option is to de-matt and brush out your dog yourself before we arrive.  In most cases we highly recommend the shave down as it is the less stressful and less painful option for the dog.

• Shy, Fearful & Aggressive Dogs •
Call for Information & Price.  Kristy was a dog trainer at All Breed Rescue & Training www.HaveANiceDog.org and she has experience working
with shy, fearful and aggressive dogs.  She is willing to work with your dog to achieve a relationship with them.

There are 3 levels of shy, fearful & aggressive dogs that Kristy deals with.
• LEVEL 1 can include: low growling, showing teeth, ears pinned back and quick head turns.  If your dog is a level 1 when I arrive I will try offering calming signals and treats to see if I can gain their trust.  I will then take them out to the Sudsy Dogmobile and try brushing and petting them.  If this calms them down then I will continue with the bath and grooming.  If this doesn't work then they will become a level 2.
• LEVEL 2 can include: all of level 1 behaviors plus air snapping.  If your dog is a level 2, I will try the same things from a level 1 dog.  If this works I will continue with the bath and grooming.  If this doesn't help the behavior you will have 2 choices.  The first choice is to muzzle the dog and groom them to the best of my ability with a muzzle on (no grooming around the face).  This option is only recommended if grooming is needed for health reasons.  The second option is to buy a muzzle and train your dog to wear it comfortably.  This process takes about a week - I would reschedule your grooming and come back in about a week.  Often if I groom a level 1 or 2 dog on a consistent schedule they will become comfortable with me and the muzzle isn't needed.
• LEVEL 3 can include: All of level 1 & 2 behaviors plus actually bitting me.  If your dog is a level 3 I will not groom them until the behavior is fixed.  I highly recommend setting up a behavior evaluation at All Breed Rescue & Training www.HaveANiceDog.org  I work with them and would be willing to sit in on the evaluation and also work with you and them until we can fix the problem and I can groom them.  I will consider grooming the dog with a muzzle if it is for a health reason - this will be considered on a case by case basis.

• Often times aggressive behaviors come up during the grooming process and are specific handling issues.  For instance many dogs do not enjoy having their nails trimmed.  If your dog becomes aggressive over a specific handling issue I will stop what I am doing and have you work on fixing that particular problem.  I will tell you how to fix that handling issue and request that you work on it before the next grooming appointment.
