These are additional fees to the grooming services listed above. These prices vary depending on the size of your dog and the condition of their coat.

This is a special Furminator shampoo and conditioner we use that helps to release the undercoat when we blow dry and brush your dog. This is a great add on for dogs who are blowing their under coat. Additional price depends on the size of your dog.

If your dog is matted to the skin and requires a full shave down we do charge an additional fee for this as it takes more time to shave down a dog whose coat is matted to the skin. I will give you an exact price once I inspect your dogs coat.

If I'm coming out and you have another dog that just needs their nails done while I'm already at your house I can do that for an additional $20.

If your dog gets sprayed by a skunk we will be happy to book an after hours same day -or- next day appointment and come wash your dog with our skunk shampoo. Please note that this shampoo does help with the smell, however nothing but time will completely get rid of the skunk smell. This fee is for the special shampoo treatment and the after hours appointment fee.

This is a special flea & tick shampoo that effectively kills fleas, ticks & lice and provides resistance to infesting insects with results that lasts up to two weeks. This treatments also includes removal of up to 5 ticks (any more than that and it moves to an infested dog treatment).

This service includes manual tick removal followed by a bath using flea & tick shampoo. Pricing varies based on the level of infestation, as removal can be time-intensive. Ticks aren’t always visible until the coat is opened during shaving or drying. If I discover an infestation during a standard groom, I will contact you first so we can discuss adding the treatment.

My name is Joe, and I was a mobile dog groomer in Colorado from 2009 to 2015 before my family and I headed in a new direction for a few years. After moving to Alabama, I brought Sudsy Dogmobile back and have been happily grooming dogs here locally for over a year now. Working one-on-one with dogs and their owners has always been my favorite part of the job, and grooming right at your home keeps things calm and comfortable for the pets.
Dogs are a big part of our daily life. My wife Kristy runs Wiggle Butt Society, a dog-centered brand celebrating the personality and bond we share with our pets. She creates dog-themed shirts, gifts, and metal decor for fellow dog lovers - so between grooming and her shop, our world pretty much revolves around wagging tails. Sudsy Dogmobile is my way of caring for the dogs. Wiggle Butt Society is her way of celebrating them. You can learn more about Wiggle Butt Society here: www.wigglebuttsociety.com
I schedule each visit as a dedicated time just for your dog so I can stay on time for every family on my route. If you need to reschedule, I’m always happy to do so - just please give at least 24 hours notice and there is no fee.
Because that time is held exclusively for you:
• Cancellations within 24 hours (before travel) require a
$25 rebooking fee
• If I arrive and no one is home,
a $60 missed appointment fee applies
• Repeated missed appointments may require a prepaid booking fee of $150 before scheduling again
I understand life happens - regular clients experiencing a true emergency will have their first late cancellation waived. Thank you for helping me keep the day running smoothly for all the pups!
I groom one dog at a time in my fully equipped mobile grooming trailer — no kennels, no waiting rooms, and no other dogs around. Most appointments are finished in 1–2 hours and your dog comes right back to your door when we’re done.
The trailer has warm water, climate control, and everything needed for a complete groom. I just need access to a standard outlet.
My focus is keeping the experience calm and positive. I work at your dog’s pace and adjust techniques to what they tolerate comfortably, building trust over time whenever possible. For dogs with severe anxiety, I recommend discussing safe calming options with your veterinarian before grooming.
This approach works especially well for senior dogs, anxiety dogs, or any dog that struggles with busy salon environments.
-Hours & Scheduling
I schedule appointments throughout the week — including weekends — and do my best to work around your schedule. Text me to find the next available time.
-How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs do best on a 4–8 week schedule depending on coat type and length. Regular grooming keeps the coat healthy and prevents matting — and helps you keep a consistent spot on the schedule.
-Vaccinations
Because I groom one dog at a time and sanitize between visits, dogs do not come into contact with others. Owners are responsible for keeping their dog up to date on required vaccinations.
-Payments
Cash, check, or PayPal.
-Arrival times
I run a scheduled route and aim to be on time. Occasionally traffic or a prior dog needing extra care may cause small delays - I’ll always contact you if I’m running behind.
-Nervous dogs
I work at your dog’s comfort level and don’t force stressful procedures. Regular visits help build trust over time.
-Fleas, ticks, or matting
If discovered during grooming, I’ll contact you to discuss treatment or coat reset options before continuing.
-Breed-specific cuts
Available upon request (additional charge may apply).
-Aggressive or reactive dogs
Many dogs do better in a quiet one-on-one setting. Safety always comes first.
-Anal glands
I do not express anal glands. I recommend having this performed by a veterinarian.
-Tipping
Always appreciated, never required.
